Jess brings a diverse background in operations, healthcare, and service-focused organizations to her role as Operations Coordinator at Cameron MacAllister Group. A natural problem-solver, she enjoys bringing order to moving pieces, anticipating what needs to happen next, and finding ways to harmonize people and processes so they work better together.
“Everything is figureoutable.”
Before joining Cameron MacAllister Group, Jess held leadership and operational roles across healthcare, retail, and client service. Her experience includes practice management, provider support, scheduling, financial operations, process improvement, and client experience. Across each of these roles, Jess has gravitated toward the same kind of work: helping people navigate complex situations, identifying what they need, and figuring out how to get them there. She is especially drawn to the work that happens behind the scenes—the details, problem-solving, and coordination that make an experience feel effortless to everyone else.
Jess is also a published author. Her book, Dying in the Window: Lessons from Life in Service, is a humorous collection of stories and reflections inspired by her years working in restaurants, retail, and healthcare. Writing has long been a creative outlet and a way for Jess to find humor and connection in everyday experiences.
Outside of work, Jess enjoys traveling with her husband and son, painting, writing, and seeing live music. A lifelong New Orleanian, she has strong opinions about good food and good coffee, loves discovering new places, and is almost always planning the next family adventure. After spending most of her career in service, she has also learned that nearly everything makes a good story eventually.
