Saskia Dennis-van Dijl

CPSM, ASSOCIATE AIA

Principal Consultant, Partner

Strategic. Competitive. Experienced. Curious.

Saskia’s work sits at the intersection of strategy, leadership, and practice. Grounded in a deep respect for design and the people who shape it, she partners with leaders across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry to navigate complexity, strengthen their organizations, and move forward with clarity and intention.

At Cameron MacAllister Group, Saskia advises firms on strategic planning, leadership development, and business development. She is known for helping leadership teams align around a clear direction, make better decisions, and translate ideas into meaningful action. Her work often focuses on the moments that matter most—leadership transitions, growth inflection points, role clarity, and the evolution of culture and firm identity.

“My relationships with my clients are based on trust and honesty. I love getting to know them deeply—understanding their culture, their values, their work – and then helping them to be more successful in the marketplace.”

Saskia designs and facilitates retreats, workshops, and multi-session leadership programs that blend rigor with reflection. She brings a practical, human-centered approach to topics such as seller–doer development, communication and presence, team alignment, and the changing role of leadership in design practice. Her style is both structured and conversational, helping teams engage honestly while staying focused on what matters.

She has also played a long-standing role in advancing conversations around equity and inclusion in the design industry. Saskia was a founding member of the 2014 Equity by Design research initiative through the American Institute of Architects (AIA) San Francisco and continues to support firms in building more inclusive, equitable cultures through both strategy and practice.

From 2016 to 2026, Saskia served as Executive Director of the Global Design Alliance, an international network of leading design and construction firms. In that role, she worked closely with firm leaders from around the world to share insight, challenge assumptions, and support one another in navigating growth and change.

Before joining Cameron MacAllister Group in 1999, Saskia spent 11 years as Director of Business Development at Esherick Homsey Dodge and Davis in San Francisco, where she developed a strong foundation in client relationships and market strategy that continues to inform her work today.

Saskia lives in the Columbia River Gorge, just east of Portland, Oregon, where she can often be found on the trails near her home.
